Although a Seattle native, I grew up an indoor kid. In 6th grade, when other kids were outside playing, I was writing news parodies mocking Saddam Hussein. Once in the same week, I won the D.A.R.E. essay contest and lost the spelling bee in the first round. I ran for city council of my hometown when I was 18. Luckily, I wasn't elected. I retain a working knowledge of most legal principles explored on The People's Court. I love the word "ampersand" and I encourage you to say it aloud right now. I love piecing together the right words and strategy to build thoughtful and compelling creative.
I also know the quadratic formula.
